VA Covers Chiropractic and Acupuncture Services

For the past 3 to 4 years, the VA has been covering chiropractic and acupuncture with great results. In America we live during a period where we rely on drugs and pharmaceuticals as a primary source of care for all ailments. Recent and past studies have shown that chiropractic and acupuncture are successful at treating chronic neck pain, low back pain and overall joint/muscle pain.

With these new services in place, veterans now have the choice of utilizing natural and holistic healthcare to help with their chronic pain.

How do I get my referral from the VA?

• Step 1. Set up an appointment with your primary provider at the VA and have them do an examination to document your current pain and conditions.
• Step 2. Let them know that you would like to go to Fox Chiropractic and give them Dr Talburt's name or acupuncturist you would like to visit.
• Step 3. Your primary provider will access our providers in their database and print out the referral.
• Step 4. Fox Chiropractic Wellness will get a fax immediately of the Chiropractic or Acupuncture referral.

It's really that simple! Once you have a scheduled appointment, make sure you do not miss that appointment, because it can affect your referral.
